BALMAIN, HYDRANT SHAMPOO AND CREME
It wasn’t too long ago that I discovered Balmain did hair, no not hair products, but actual hair. Michael Angelo of Wonderland introduced me to their high quality extensions (seriously they put my own hair to shame) and I became obsessed with their clip on fringe. It’s no surprise that I have fallen hard for their range of Hydrant shampoos and conditioners. The people at Balmain hair are doing something right since their products are ahhhamazing, but what lingers in my mind is why doesn’t anybody know about them? The team is relaunching their professional series at the end of the year so hopefully that will create some buzz. BLUE VALENTINE
Valentine’s Day got you down? Shake your blues away with Emily and her blueberry locks. Emily Dahl seems to be the master of hair hues. Back in October she was sporting an envy inducing red bob that constantly turned heads--but I am loving her new blue tresses even more. SACHAJUAN, STOCKHOLM EDITION
I didn’t NEED to travel to Stockholm to fall in love with Swedish brand SACHAJUAN, but c’est la vie. Because although I recognized their products back in New York, it wasn't until I arrived in Sweden -- and after a week of using Head and Shoulders -- that I was inspired to try it out. In Stockholm, SACHAJUAN is everywhere, and now I understand why. After examining (and smelling) every one of their bottles at Åhlens, I settled on their most basic Shampoo for Normal Hair. It smells and works amazing especially as a clarifying shampoo that won’t weigh your hair down. The line is based around "ocean silk technology," which adds shine to your locks while keeping them bouncy by utilizing key proteins found in sea algae extract. My favorite summer find in Stockholm so far.
