Like most ladies, I am always on the quest for the perfect mascara—the one that is simultaneously clump free and will make you look like you just threw on the best set of falsies effortlessly. I tend to keep a few of my favorite mascaras on deck and the most recent addition to my arsenal is Givenchy’s Phenomen’Eyes Effet Extension.
The first time I put it on this little gem I knew we were embarking on something big together, kind of like the first time you kiss a boy and realize how much you like him and it’s like Bam! Instant crush. The spherical brush and new generation formula reduces clumps and lengthens every lash. The company boasts that their high-definition lengthening power lies in Phenomen’ s ability to extend and repair lashes while reducing drying time and my lashes were significantly lenghthier and fanned out.
After swiping it on last month my hairdresser complemented me on my eyelash curling technique. Seeing as I don’t even own an eyelash curler, this only reaffirmed what I already suspected—this stuff is a keeper. The small spherical brush helps define each lash with precision. If you’re a clumpaphobe like myself, I recommend lightly blotting the brush the first few times before using it. This will help eliminate the extra mascara that attaches to the brush when the bottle is full.
