Alicia Torello (the wall group) executed the nail look. “All of the polishes are from the Color Club and Katie designed the nail today.  They were falsies, just press ons with a black under color in where’s the soiree and a red topcoat. We used the deep red, red-ical gypsy on the topside with red thread that came from her clothing. I always put a really glossy sexy top coat on everything and it dries super fast.”

Javier Romero, a lead makeup artist from MAC, took charge of the makeup team. “Our inspiration was blood streams and we wanted to make all of the concept very fluid. That is why we used a glossy eyelid mixing two red pigments from MAC, one mixer and a regular gloss on the whole lid.  We created our own mascara mixing pigments from MAC too. For the lip we went for a vinyl looking finish. We used Mac’s Pro Longwear lipcolour in lasting lust on the girls—its shiny and fabulous.”

Theresa Adams of Soho’s Dop Dop Salon worked with key stylist Cesar Ramirez to realize the hair for the show. “The hair is fierce and fantastic. The inspiration for the hair was for it to look like a heart and mimic the anatomy. So what we did was three slick ponytails with all different partings making sure that everything was super smooth.  Each ponytail was curved in and then around like a “C” standing up. This is how you get the cut in half almost organ like feel.  That is what I love about Katie, she can take inspiration from something unexpected and make it into something truly beautiful. It is magical.”
